About Me

I’m Terry Seely, and my journey as a financial advisor spans over three decades, with roots in hard work, adaptability, and a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals.

Professional Path
My career started during college at Simpson Paper Co. in Vicksburg, MI—a challenging role with long hours and a harness keeping me secure over 100 feet in the air. After graduating, I gained valuable experience with Barclays American Financial, where I managed branches in multiple cities, and later with Ingersoll-Rand, where I advanced to branch operations manager in Pennsylvania.

Life brought me back to Michigan when my father fell ill, leading me to pivot to financial services in 1991. I joined Sun Life before launching my personal advisory practice in 2000. Now, as part of my business succession plan, I’m excited to join Fiduciary Financial Advisors, bringing my expertise to serve clients across Michigan, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida.

Family & Personal Life
I am a graduate of Albion College with a degree in Business. I married my wife Mary Beth, in 1983. Together, we have three wonderful children. Megan (Denny) Pittman, Caitlin (Brandon) Gardner, and Ryan (Emily) Seely. My parents, Don and Sunny Seely, both of whom have passed, were instrumental in shaping my values and work ethic.

Hobbies & Passions
When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the golf course, officiating high school basketball games since 2008, or cheering any one my seven grandchildren at their sporting events. I also love exploring the U.S., perfecting BBQ recipes, and enjoying a good bourbon (still hoping to find a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 23!).

It’s a privilege to continue my career at Fiduciary Financial Advisors, where I can help families navigate their financial journeys with care and integrity.
